Anglo College students participate in the Program Bahiana For one day

The objective is to provide high school students with information about the courses offered by Bahiana.

The program "Bahiana For a Day” was visited by 2nd year students from Colégio Anglo, on May 3, at the Academic Unit Cabula da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública.

The group of visitors was welcomed by students and professors from the institution with a program that included activities carried out by coordinators, professors and students of the courses at the Bahiana, which allowed students to be in contact with academic life, in addition to getting to know the institution's professors and students.

     
Also participating in the visit were the coordinator of the Physical Education course, Clarcson Plácido, who presented the course and routine of the laboratory in sports science, and the professor of the Psychology course, Marcia Tironi, who discussed myths and truths in this area.

Representing the Medicine course, the monitors from the Morphofunctional Sciences Group presented the morphofunctional laboratory and the administrative supervisor of the Dental Center, Lisia Oliveira, showed how the space under her responsibility works.

On that occasion, there were also experimental activities in electrotherapy, in addition to the assessment of posture, balance and palpatory anatomy, carried out by the professors of the Physiotherapy course, Giovana Franciscon and Sandra Mendes. The coordinator of the Nursing course, Cristiane Magali, gave a demonstration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and an activity on parasitology was presented with Professor Artur Lima.

The program Bahiana For a Day seeks to support the work of professional guidance in secondary schools, providing students with information about the courses offered by Bahiana and contact with the institution's academic environment.
