The GPTW institute, creator and organizer of the award, is a global consultancy and training institution, founded in the United States. The organization conducts surveys of the best companies to work for in 53 countries and, in Brazil, it has been operating for 25 years. The award is the result of a survey carried out with employees, comprising 58 questions, in addition to an analysis of the company's practices, which must reach a stipulated minimum sample of employees and obtain a grade equal to or greater than 70%. In the next step, the responses of employees are evaluated, as well as the actions carried out by the institution. The weight is 56% for quantitative research, 11% for qualitative research and 33% for company practices.

Very moved, Telma Bastos said that the result of the GPTW is always a joy, but she ponders saying that to remain at this level is also to face the challenge of always growing and taking care of employees more and more. "What brings together these companies that are here today is the great mission of serving others. They have a purpose to follow and they do it together with their employees. Integrating what you want with what you do is to be coherent. We've arrived at this place. precisely because what we want to be is what we do every day". She also emphasizes that this commitment is present in all sectors of the Bahiana. "Serving each other with an open heart! Bahiana it exudes this in all dimensions, in all its actions, whether technical or academic, it is a collective effort".
