Nursing students hold health fair
Event was the result of a partnership between the school and DayHorc.

In celebration of World Health Day, DayHorc, in partnership with Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, held a health fair on April 7th. In addition to being responsible for organizing the event, the students performed several actions such as checking health indicators (measurement of blood pressure, BMI and blood glucose) and, later, providing guidance to employees and clients of the institution, considering the results and promoting concepts about habits healthy life and disease prevention.
"What would be another Friday was a different day. I was able to put into practice some of the care nursing and health education, which are some of the pillars that the Nursing course offers Bahiana it teaches its students", says student Renata Dias. According to her, it was gratifying to see the knowledge acquired in the undergraduate course being put into practice "and to be able to have the resourcefulness to give good guidance and a good procedure, qualities that I developed within from the academy and that I'll take it hard for my professional life."
