CAPES: Periodical Portal services are now accessed via separate links

Users can choose directly from the top menu whether they want to perform "Remote Access" or use "My Space?.

In order to improve the visualization of important areas of the CAPES virtual library, the general coordination of the Portal de Periódicos implemented an improvement in the design of the main page.

"Remote Access" by the Federated Academic Community (CAFe) and "My space" no longer appear in the same area. This means that the links have been separated and users will see each service, individually, in the top menu of the home. It is important to emphasize that the dismemberment does not change the services in any way.

Logging in to "My Space" is optional both for those who perform remote access and for those who access the portal of a participating institution. The user can register at any time in "My space", if interested in saving an article, enrolling in online training or using the other resources available in the section.

The Federated Academic Community (CAFe) is a service under the responsibility of the National Education and Research Network (RNP) and allows remote access to the Capes Journal Portal. Through this service, the user can access the contents available in the collection from anywhere, as long as he is connected to the internet. Those interested in using CAFe should look for the library or the IT sector of the institution to which they are linked - the Bahiana is one of the few institutions that offer students and professors the convenience of accessing the Capes Portal with the same login and password as the Student/Professor Portal.

Other information about the services can be obtained from the portal team at periodicos@capes.gov.br.
