Physical Education Course at Bahiana receives athletes from the Bahia Federation of Volleyball for performance evaluation
Activity is part of the outreach program "Youth Athlete Welcoming Program".

On March 25, 21 athletes from the Bahia Beach Volleyball Federation, aged 12 to 21, underwent a performance evaluation at the Movement Studies Laboratory of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, located in the Cabula Academic Unit.
The athletes were assisted by students from the Physical Education course coordinated by the course coordinator, Clarcson Plácido, and by professors Ciro Queiroz and Vinicius Galvão. During the activity, a battery of tests was performed, applying protocols that assessed body composition, strength, muscular and anaerobic power, aerobic endurance and agility.
Clarcson Plácido points out that the program had the effective participation of students. “During the program, the students were able to assess some important points that are essential for the good development of beach volleyball”.
The program, together with the Physical Education course at Bahiana and the Bahia Federation, integrates the interdisciplinary outreach activity "Young Athlete Welcoming Program".
According to the representative of the Bahia Federation and the team's coach, Alba Oliveira, the assessment provided the athletes with knowledge about the potential of each one. "It was a wonderful and very productive morning and I appreciate the opportunity to have access to this laboratory".
