Bahiana receives the 2nd edition of the "Congress on Humanization, Welcoming and Art in Health"

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública from the 8th to the 10th of June, the 2nd edition of the “Congress on Humanization, Reception and Art in Health”, at the Cabula Academic Unit.

The event will be attended by renowned experts in the areas of health, humanization and the arts, who will promote a debate on the importance of qualified humanized care.

On the first day of the event, there will be a pre-congress course with the theme "The Clown Logic applied to Hospital Reception".

Throughout the congress, which has as its central objective to bring together and give visibility to successful initiatives in the area of ​​humanization, actions that aim to promote the integration and exchange of experiences in the context of hospital humanization will be disclosed, in addition to artistic presentations during the opening and closing activities.

The congress has as guest speakers Dr. Álvaro Nonato (doctor, musician and writer); Dr. Otoni Costa Filho (physician, director of the Medical Residency at Hospital Ana Nery) and Ricardo Lopes Pereira de Melo (psychologist with experience in the field of Psychology and emphasis on psychosocial care, income generation workshops, solidarity economy, associativism, cooperativism and co-management).

Also participating in the program are nurse Tânia Baraúna (educator, psychopedagogist, nurse, professor and coordinator of the Nursing course at the Catholic University of Salvador (UCSAL), PhD in Humanities at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona and Dr. Tereza Maltez ( president of CREMEB), among other special guests.
