Bahiana supports the 13th edition of the Parish Health Fair of Brotas

On May 27, from 8 am to 16 pm, the 13th edition of the Parish Health Fair of Brotas. The event will take place at the Parish Community Center, located at Av. Dom João VI, in the neighborhood of Brotas. The activities will be carried out by undergraduate students supervised by professors and professionals from the Teaching-Assistance Outpatient Clinic of Bahiana (ADAB).

Health promotion actions such as disease prevention, such as dengue, zika, chikungunya and yellow fever, healthy eating tips, heart care and obesity control are planned.

The fair also includes initiatives such as vaccination, promotion of body care, recreational activities, leisure, hypertension and diabetes control, as well as physical therapy and psychological counseling with an emphasis on chronic pain and health and rehabilitation assistance. Medical consultations will also be offered in the medical clinic, pediatrics, gynecology, orthopedics, physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy and bandaging specialties.
