NEPA and NEPAR have awarded works at the 54th COBEM

One of the studies was classified to participate in the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna.

The Centers for Teaching and Research in Anatomy (NEPA) and Teaching and Research in Radiological Anatomy (NEPAR) of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, had three works awarded at the 54th Brazilian Congress of Medical Education, held in Brasília, from October 12th to 15th, 2016. Among them, the study “Early approach to radiology in the education of medical students - a transversal axis”, on the occasion presented by monitor Natália Figueirêdo (NEPAR), it was selected for the European Congress of Radiology, which took place in Vienna last Saturday (March 4), at 10:XNUMX am (GMT), from where it was broadcast via webconference (click to watch).

The work was awarded for demonstrating the pioneering of the Bahiana in the implementation of the teaching of radiology linked to the basic cycle in the country, facilitating the interpretation of imaging exams associated with the recognition of anatomy.

The study entitled "Capacity of the anatomy monitor as an active subject of the teaching-learning process", presented by monitor Gabriela Bagano (NEPA) was awarded for addressing the training of future teachers, committed to medical education, based on the development of pedagogical resources and technological in the relationship between teaching and learning. 

In turn, the work "Training for radiological anatomy monitors" was also awarded for representing an extension work of NEPA in relation to the training model for anatomy monitors in the field of radiology. This research, presented by monitor Ariel Freitas, demonstrated that a pedagogical monitoring model can complement the training of medical students.
