2008 - 22.02 - Week 'The New of Bahiana'. Freshmen reception 2008.1

An example of originality, once again the reception of freshmen from Bahiana it was a cultural celebration with lots of dancing and music, which involved all the new students and employees of the Bahiana. The week of "News of Bahiana" featured the participation of Maculelê Raízes do Dendê, from Candeal, who made a special presentation for new students at Cabula.
The students were also able to learn a little about the performance of the Bahiana with the community, among them the "Candeal Project: social responsibility in academic training", presented by the School Director, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, and the project coordinator, Maria Antonieta Araújo.
The freshmen also participated in cultural workshops involving handicrafts, dance and music and, at the end, went on a procession through the Cabula Academic Unit.
