Established in 2008, the National Mammography Day recalls the importance of periodically performing the exam capable of detecting tiny lesions, nodules or other abnormalities that are imperceptible to the touch.

According to updated guidelines from national and international health institutes, mammography should be performed every two years, starting at 50 years of age.

During Pink October, the month to fight breast cancer, there is a sharp increase in the demand for consultations with professional breast cancer specialists. If you struggled to get an appointment and ended up leaving it for later, remember: your health always comes first.
