About ParaPraia
ParaPraia is an initiative of the City of Salvador that provides leisure and well-being for the physically handicapped, people with reduced mobility and their families. Held annually since 2014, the project offers assisted bathing services on the city's beaches, with the participation of 400 professionals and a complete structure – sombreros, restrooms, tents and access lanes – to meet the specific needs of the public.

For its excellence, and for the confidence it inspires in people, the Bahiana was chosen for a special partnership in holding the event – becoming the arms and legs of ParaPraia. The school is represented by undergraduate students and professors. Through your hands, moments of overcoming and happiness become possible, in an exciting, gratifying and enriching experience.
