Bahiana for a day' welcomes students from Colégio Anglo

During the activities, the students were able to learn a little more about the courses offered by the Bahiana.

Two groups of high school students from Colégio Anglo participated in the project Bahiana for a Day, at the Cabula Academic Unit, from Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública.

On October 19th and 26th, the students participated in a circuit through the Bahiana to learn a little about each course at the institution. Students and teachers dedicated a special program to visitors.

Coordinator Clarcson Plácido and Professor Paulo Rodrigo Aristides from the Physical Education course presented the Laboratory for the Study of Movement and provided explanations about the course. During a visit to the Teaching-Assistance Clinic of Bahiana (ADAB), students were able to learn about the Dentistry course, supervised by professors Maria Cecília Azoubel and Leonardo Costa.


The Physiotherapy activity was carried out by Professor Bruno Goes and the 6th semester students. The Nursing course was presented, on the 19th, by the coordinator Cristiane Magali Freitas, at the Laboratory of Skills. On the 26th, the Nursing course also held a conversation with Professor Rosicleide Freitas about the importance of early diagnosis of breast cancer.

During the event, the Psychology course was also presented, which carried out an activity on myths and truths, with a brief discussion on these aspects related to the psychologist's profession. Monitors from the Center for Teaching and Research in Anatomy and the Morphofunctional Sciences Group (GCM) gave a mini-lecture about some systems of the human body during their visit to the Morphofunctional Laboratory.
