Bahiana promotes Blood Donation Campaign and Registration of Bone Marrow Donors

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, in partnership with the Hematology Foundation of Bahia (HEMOBA), carried out the Blood Donation and Bone Marrow Donor Registration campaign, on August 23 and 24, at the Cabula Academic Unit and, on August 25 and 26, at the Academic Unit Brotas.  

For its second year, the cell was made available to the academic community of the Bahiana with the HEMOBA team of specialists mobilizing students, teachers and staff. The donations accounted, in total, 187 candidates evaluated, 116 blood bags collected and 51 registered bone marrow donors.
