II Journey of Medical Anatomy of Bahia (JAMEB)

On September 15,16, 17 and XNUMX, the II Journey of Medical Anatomy of Bahia (JAMEB), at the Cabula Academic Unit Convention Center, in Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública.

The program is an initiative of the Center for Teaching and Research in Anatomy (NEPA) and will bring together students from the first and second years of the Medicine course in order to allow students to know the impact of anatomy on medical specialties through courses, pre -days, conferences, roundtables, allowing scientific updating with several renowned specialists from the medical society.

Agenda

On September 15, during the morning and afternoon, the pre-workshop courses will be held covering the following topics:

>> Procedural Anatomy, carried out by the Center for Teaching and Research in Anatomy (NEPA), aims to develop skills in performing essential procedures in medical practice, associating the technique of execution with knowledge of Regional Anatomy.

>> The Palpatory Anatomy course will be conducted by the Center for Teaching and Research in Anatomy (NEPA) with the aim of identifying palpable anatomical structures.

>> Semiological Anatomy, carried out by the Academic League of General Medicine (LAMEG), with the objective of developing clinical reasoning skills through anatomical foundation, supported by the completion of the Physical Examination and the elaboration of a Data Summary.

>> Mastering PowerPoint will be carried out by the Academic League of Scientific and Biostatistics Methodology, in order to increase the level of knowledge of participants on the use of PowerPoint, as well as the application of this knowledge to the preparation of better and visually more didactic slide presentations .

>> Search for Scientific Articles, carried out by the Center for Teaching and Research in Anatomy (NEPA) to encourage the use of scientific articles and systematize their search steps in the SciELO and PubMED databases.

>> Basic Biostatistics, carried out by the Center for Teaching and Research in Anatomy (NEPA) in order to encourage the understanding and use of Basic Biostatistics.

>> The Neuroradiology course will be carried out by the Academic League of Applied Neurosciences (LANA) and by the Neuroanatomy Teaching Group, with the objective of providing, in a didactic way, the bridge between the main pathologies and nervous system imaging exams central with Basic Neuronatomy.

>> The Radiological Anatomy course will be conducted by the Center for Teaching and Research in Radiological Anatomy (NEPAR), by the Academic League of Clinical Anatomy (LAAC) and by the Academic League of Radiology and Applied Image (LAR), addressing pathologies and exams chest imaging with a theoretical basis taught by the teacher bringing the basic principles of radiology that will underpin the rest of the course.

During the night, there will be a solemn opening ceremony with a magna lecture given by the guest speaker, with the theme Ethical Aspects of the Medical Student.

On September 16th and 17th (morning and afternoon) there will be conferences and roundtables, covering the systems: Musculoskeletal, Neurological, Cardiorespiratory, Endocrine, Female Reproductive, Urinary and Digestive, with the participation of 18 guest lecturers.
