PET Odonto participates in activities at the Sister Dulce Social Works

On June 3, students of the Extension and Tutoring Program of the Dentistry course (PET Odonto) at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública held an outreach activity at the Sister Dulce Social Works (OSID), in the special geriatrics ward.

During the programming, students instructed elderly people, in a playful way, about oral hygiene, emphasizing the correct way to sanitize the dentures and caregivers received technical guidance in order to minimize motor difficulties that patients may have. 

The activity allowed students to experience, in practice, health actions, in addition to promoting a better quality of life for OSID patients.
