Students from Bahiana and Uneb participate in a multidisciplinary activity

During the second half of 2015, students of the Nursing course at Bahiana and Medicine at Uneb participated in activities focused on comprehensive care for the individual.

In the second half of 2015, students of the Supervised Internship of Collective Health of the Nursing Graduation of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública and the undergraduate medicine course at the State University of Bahia (UNEB) participated in the Interinstitutional and Multiprofessional Activity focused on comprehensive care for the individual, at the CSU Municipal School of Narandiba and Professora Elisabeth Chaves Veloso State College, located in the Cabula VI and in the Family Health Unit, all internship fields of the two institutions.

During the four meetings held, proposals were presented by the professors, in an activity of integration among the students through dynamics and planning of activities, in addition to the initiation of health education actions whose target audience was composed of adolescents, being worked on the themes of family planning, sexually transmitted diseases and life projects.

     

During the activities, games for children were also promoted, such as ciranda circles, chiefs, among others, with the objective of recovering old games, in addition to contributing to the physical and mental development of children, sensitizing them about the importance of being together, reducing the use of technologies. Dentists who performed a brushing after the end of the activity were present. Soon after, accident prevention through dramatization was discussed. At the end of the program, there was a waiting room in the Family Health Unit of Cabula VI and several themes were discussed, as well as the evaluation of the activities developed during the semester.

The program ended with a get-together among all the participants.
