Medical Student of Bahiana is featured in Congress in Switzerland

Contraceptive methods among pregnant teenagers is the subject of the study.

From May 4th to 7th, the 14th Congress of the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health took place in Basel, Switzerland.

     

During the program, the former member of PET/REDES and a student of the Medicine course at Bahiana, Fernanda Scopetta, presented the work Sociodemographics features and Knowledge of contraceptive methods among teenage pregnant Brazilian women, a study carried out under the guidance of Professor Dr. Milena Bastos Brito that assessed knowledge about contraceptive methods among pregnant teenagers. 

Praised by representatives of the World Health Organization, the work was highlighted at the event, being selected among the five best for oral presentation in the Young Scientist session.
