The program will be open to the community in general, free of charge, bringing together pregnant women and their companions in order to insert medical students in the context of community health as a promoter of preventive health, thus establishing a closer relationship between academia and the community, in addition to informing and answering pregnant women's doubts, enabling greater comfort and safety during the gestational process, childbirth and puerperium.

During the program, the students will guide the care of the newborn (NB), encourage the affective bond between mother and child, from the intrauterine period and promote self-care, thus contributing to a better quality of life for women and the baby.
