On May 13, from 7:13 am to XNUMX:XNUMX pm, it will be held at the Academic Unit Cabula da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública the event Fights in Mental Health.

The field of mental health is one of the most complex areas of activity in contemporary times, which involves political, educational, clinical, community and organizational arrangements. Considering the need for permanent debates about the implementation of the psychiatric reform and the principles of the anti-asylum fight, the Bahiana promotes this meeting for the fifth consecutive year, an initiative that aims to discuss the conditions of the current psychosocial care system, as well as to propose alternatives based on theoretical constructs and human experiences. Based on the dialogue between managers, professionals, patients and families, the event intends to mobilize the student body and partner institutions to invest in the quality of care strategies and in works that promote social transformation.

During the activities, lectures, round tables, debates and cultural presentations will be given. 250 places will be made available - registrations are free - which can be completed until the date of the event.
