Nursing: Curricular Internship Welcoming Week

During the week of January 25th to 28th, students from the Nursing course participated in the Week of Reception and Integration of the Curriculum Internship, always held in the first week of classes of the academic semester. Students from the 8th and 9th semesters and professors of the course participated in the various activities.

According to the course coordinator, Prof. Cristiane Magali Freitas, "the week of reception and integration aims to encourage a reflection on ethical and humanistic conduct in comprehensive care for citizens. Students are invited to reflect on the world of work, leading to taking into account aspects such as: teamwork, entrepreneurship, proactivity, among others".

During the meeting, the students discussed themes that will guide their performance in the internship fields and took classes on the evaluation process of the curricular internship, effective communication, patient safety, professional ethics, among others.
