Physical Education Course at Bahiana promotes free stand up paddle classes

On March 19 and 20, from 7 am, at Farol da Barra, the Physical Education course at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública will promote free stand up paddle lessons.

The initiative is aimed at Physical Education students and employees of the Bahiana and seeks to encourage the adoption of a physically active lifestyle, also providing a moment of recreation for participants and the development of ecological awareness.

The action has a partnership with the company Stand Up Clubb and registrations can be made until March 15 at the Graduate, Research and Innovation and Extension Secretariat in Academic Units Brotas and Kabula.

• Participants must know how to swim.

• Stand Up Clubb will provide luggage storage, air-conditioned bathrooms, towels, soaps and shampoos.

• For Stand Up Clubb visitors, parking at Hotel Sol Barra costs 5 reais for the first two hours. Surplus will cost 3 reais per hour.
