February 19 - National Education Mobilization Day to Fight Aedes Aegypti and Zika Virus

The Zika Virus epidemic has required, on the part of health authorities and institutions throughout Brazil, actions aimed at raising awareness in the population to fight Aedes Aegipty, as well as seeking solutions for the prevention and treatment of the disease.

Bahiana, which for more than six decades has dedicated its efforts to education and public health, is developing numerous actions with the academic community and society to help fight Aedes Aegipty.

We understand and reaffirm the importance of everyone being engaged in this fight.
