3rd edition of ParaPraia - Ondina

Last weekend (January 16th and 17th), the third edition of the ParaPraia project began. And, once again, the Bahiana was present. The program had the participation of the Angels of Nursing, developing playful activities with the participants, as well as the Academic Dermato-Functional League that guided the public about skin care during sun exposure.

In its third edition, ParaPraia is an initiative of the Sustainable City Secretariat that has, since the first year, with the support of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública and aims to promote assisted bathing in the sea for the physically handicapped, as well as for people with reduced mobility, during the summer in Salvador.

This year, the Bahiana integrates the initiative with students and professors from the Nursing and Physiotherapy courses, in addition to the voluntary participation of students and professors from the Physical Education and Biomedicine courses.
