Bahiana performs Ecological Walk in the 19th BC

Integration of health with nature. This was the inspiration for the Physical Education course for the I Ecological Walk of Bahiana that happened on December 5th, in the 19th Battalion of Hunters, in Cabula. 

"Today, we are inaugurating a partnership with this journey, which is the beginning of a series of them, which will continue to involve the community of Bahiana and the members of the 19th BC. This agreement will allow the students of the Physical Education course to develop a large part of their practical activities in the facilities of the military entity that is our neighbor here in Cabula", highlighted the director of Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani.

The event brought together employees, professors and students from Bahiana with the objective of integration and promotion of physical activity. "This walk is still a playful, leisure activity and promotes integration with the environment that the 19th BC provides us, which is this contact with nature, in addition to presenting this space, still unknown by many", emphasizes Prof. . Clarcson Plácido, coordinator of the Physical Education course.

During the walk, Members participated in stretching sessions and covered seven kilometers in contact with nature and, at the end of the route, enjoyed a tasty breakfast.
