Bahiana delivers food collected at the XV Scientific and Cultural Exhibition

On the last 27th of November, the Bahiana concluded the delivery of whole powdered milk cans collected during the XV Scientific and Cultural Exhibition. 

The food was delivered to Conceição Macêdo Charitable Institution, which works to prevent AIDS and help people living with HIV in poverty.

- It was a great experience. Seeing the look, the smile on each child's face made me very happy. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in such a beautiful gesture. May more moments like this come! - reported the student Camila dos Santos Alves, a student of the third semester of the Nursing course. Camila was responsible for the delivery along with the representative of the Extension Coordination, Denise Farias.

In October, teacher Lígia Vilas Bôas and Dentistry student Illana de Miranda had already participated in the delivery of whole milk powder to the HTLV center. maintained by Bahiana, CHTLV is a reference in care for individuals with the disease since diagnosis, with a multidisciplinary team and care provided by the SUS.
