Bahiana is represented at the XXV National Forum for Teaching in Physiotherapy

From the 15th to the 19th of September, the XXV National Forum on Physiotherapy Education and the Brazilian Congress on Physiotherapy Education took place in São Paulo. THE Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública she was represented at the event by the coordinator of the Physiotherapy Course Prof. Luciana Bilitário and by the coordinator of the Candeal Program and teacher of the Lavínia Boaventura course.

At the event, the paths of higher education in Physiotherapy courses were discussed, including the national curriculum guidelines in a broad debate that included representatives of the Ministries of Health and Education and course coordinators from all regions of the country. “It was a rich experience and allowed for a wide exchange of experiences among course coordinators in the country”, comments Prof. Luciana Bilitário, who participated in the National Meeting of Course Coordinators, held during the program.

Throughout the program, the teachers of the Bahiana presented the works “Practical experience: TCC with pleasure”, authored by professors Cristiane Dias, Luciana Bilitário and Lígia Marques, a study developed within the axis of Production of Scientific Knowledge on TCC; “Adopt a child project” co-authored by professors Mayana Bião and Kelly Andrade, developed in the curricular component Physiotherapeutic Practice in Child and Adolescent Health and “Curricular Internship in Physiotherapy in Primary Health Care: discovering new horizons”, presented by Prof. Lavínia Boaventura, experience during the Physiotherapy internship in Primary Care, at the Vida Plena Community Complex – CCVP.
