Bahiana participates in 53rd COBEM

Medical students made presentations of papers, workshops and posters.

From the 7th to the 10th of November, the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública participated in the 53rd Brazilian Congress of Medical Education (COBEM), in Rio de Janeiro.

Bahiana was represented by professors, students and by the coordinator of the Medicine course, Prof. Eliana de Paula. The theme of the event this year was “Medical Education and Health Care: a network in motion” and included activities such as the Skills and Simulation Laboratory (LHS), analytical discussions on medical education, study groups and presentations by works.

 

      

 

Medical students at the Bahiana made presentations of works with specific themes:

– "Practical radiological anatomy monitoring stations as a way of consolidating knowledge – student as an active subject in the expansion of medical training" – > Julia Tavares Pereira, Mayara Cintia de Jesus Silva, Ian Cantalice Branco, Daniel Quadros Junior, under the guidance of Prof. . Carolina Freitas Lins.

 – "First Aid for All: Inserting Education in the Community" – > Luma Cardoso Gurgel de Souza*, Danielle Freitas Serafim, Gabriel de Magalhães Freitas, André Dantas Zimmermann.

 – "Monitoring first aid in the medical course" – > Gabriel de Magalhães Freitas*, Danielle Freitas Serafim, Luma Cardoso Gurgel de Souza, André Dantas Zimmermann.

– "Monitoring neuroanatomy: research and extension activities in the training of the monitor – Lucas Pereira Ferreira, Amanda dos Humildes Maia Santos*, Afonso Paranhos Silva Santos, Henrique Souza Santos, Matheus Reis Rosa, Adriana Campos Sasaki
