The program “Being Bahiana For a Day” was visited by students from Colégio Vila Lobos, on October 8, at the Academic Unit Cabula da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública.

The program seeks to support the colleges' professional guidance work, providing students with information about the courses offered by Bahiana and contact with the institution's academic environment.

A group of five students, accompanied by the coordinator of secondary education at Colégio Vila Lobos, Maria Corrêa, participated in activities carried out by the Academic League of First Aid, represented by students from the Nursing course: Andreia dos Anjos – 6th semester, Érica Aguiar – 5th semester and Sabrina Araújo – 7th semester.

During the visit, students took a guided tour of the anatomy laboratory at Bahiana, with the support of the embalmer Evaldo Jesus dos Santos and, at the end of the meeting, they toured the library of Bahiana, guided by librarian Patrícia Palmeira.

The meeting was hosted by the pedagogue of the Pedagogical Supervision Nucleus of Bahiana, Marcia Assis, and the assistants of the Institutional Relationship Center, Queise Bahia and Mônica Carvalho.
