VII SEPET

On October 16, the seventh edition of the Seminar on Preparation for Internship and Work of the Psychology course (SEPET) was held at the Academic Unit Brotas da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública.

The extension activity promoted a meeting of students with the world of work, through presentations of internship fields and practices developed throughout the semester, enabling the identification of possibilities and favoring reflection on future projects.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Ana Aparecida Nascimento Martinelli Braga, who was part of the opening table of the program together with the coordinator of the Psychology course, Sylvia Barreto. In addition to the students of the Psychology course, the coordinator of the Center for Voiding Disorders in Childhood (Cedimi), Prof. Dr. Ubirajara Barroso, psychologist at the Psychology Service of Hospital Aristides Maltez, Aline Argollo, and CAPS-AD coordinator, psychologist Gerfson Oliveira.

According to the coordinator of SEPET, Prof. Ana Aparecida Nascimento, the program managed to achieve the expected objective. “The event was very rich and managed to better prepare students, especially in the 8th and 10th semesters, of the Psychology course to make practical choices, both in terms of internship and work. We made a very diversified schedule and opened a very nice debate about the various possibilities that psychology offers and that Bahiana has provided to the entire faculty and alumni”, he concludes.
