PET - NETWORKS ends its activities

Share

“We did a panel on the closing of another institutional program in partnership with the Ministry of Health and with the partner health networks, the State and Municipal Secretariat. This project was approved in 2013 and had a duration of two years of great success and commitment with the effective participation of students, network professionals and coordination”, concluded the PET coordinator, Prof. Carolina Pedroza de Carvalho Garcia.

The 9th semester student of the Nursing course, Ana Lorena, reports that participating in PET was a unique experience of great importance for the enrichment of its academic content. “We had the opportunity to serve the community and this experience is unique. With PET, I assumed a differentiated professional profile, as we work in groups with other courses both in medicine and psychology and, with that, I greatly enriched my learning”.

“PET provided a moment of integration and sharing of experiences between everyone involved, both tutors, students and teachers. It is a growth both for the academy and for the service”, explains the coordinator of undergraduate and graduate education, Prof. Maria de Lourdes.

The PET preceptor, Prof. Lígia Marques Vilas Bôas, concludes that the event was of great importance and impact for the students. “We intend to continue this work. The Ministry of Health was an inductor, but, in fact, it is an action that we will seek to incorporate into the institution's culture”, he concludes.
