Program "Being Bahiana for a day" welcomes students from Colégio Montessoriano

The program “Being Bahiana for a day” received a visit from the students of Colégio Montessoriano, on May 5, at the Academic Unit Cabula da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública.

The program seeks to support the colleges' professional guidance work, providing students with information about the courses offered by Bahiana and contact with the institution's academic environment.

A group of 52 students, accompanied by the high school advisor at Colégio Montessoriano, Elizangela Santos, attended lectures given by professors of Medicine (Prof. André Zimmermann), Dentistry (Prof. Atson Carlos de Souza Fernandes), Biomedicine ( Prof. Geraldo José Argolo Ferraro), Physiotherapy (Prof. Maria Consuelo Nuñez Filha), Psychology (Prof. Maria Constança Velloso Cajado), Nursing (Prof. Cinthia Midori Sassaki) and Physical Education (Prof. Valdemar Caumo Junior)

The meeting was hosted by the pedagogue of the Pedagogical Supervision Nucleus of Bahiana, Marcia Assis and the assistants of the Institutional Relationship Center, Queise Bahia and Mônica Carvalho.

At the end of the program, students took a guided tour of the anatomy laboratory at Bahiana, with the support of the embalmer Evaldo Jesus dos Santos.
