Bahiana promotes Pre-HGE Medical Emergency Preparatory Course

On March 27th and 28th and April 10th and 11th, he was promoted by the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública the Pre-HGE Medical Emergency Preparatory Course. The course was conducted by Liga do Trauma (LT), aimed at students in the 9th semester of the Medicine course and aimed at practical training with students, with the simulation of the main procedures performed in the emergency room.

The course was coordinated by Prof. Rinaldo Antunes Barros, teaching coordinator of the Pre-HGE Practical Course and scientific advisor of Liga do Trauma da Bahiana and had a workload of 20 hours.

At the time, the students were trained in new stations such as tracheostomy, chest drainage, venous dissection, arterial blood gases, central venous access, intraosseous access, gastric and bladder catheters, in addition to basic and advanced life support stations, sutures, intubation orotracheal and shock.


Academics Matheus Vieira and Yasmin Falcon are in the presidency and vice-presidency of the course, and together with them, the ligands Alan Corsini, Ana Carolina Carvalho, Ana Luísa Sant'ana, Daniel Quadros Júnior, Danielle Serafim, Eduardo Passos, Fernanda Soares, Flávia Chaves, Guilherme Dahia, Gustavo Lucena, Ingrid Mesquita, João Paulo Paiva, Júlia Cruz, Júlia Pereira, Mayara Silva, Rodrigo Ramos, Tales Pagliarini, Thaís Mendes, Thiago Carvalho, Thomaz Passos and Vítor Calixto who ministered the practical stations proving competence and systematization of the procedures performed. Besides them, there was also the collaboration of former ligands such as Léo Dantas, Lisandra Lemos, Lucas Andrade, Mateus Góes, Rafael Ribeiro and Tassila Carneiro.

The programming is a result of the great work provided by the  Bahiana in training qualified professionals.
