On March 20, the Postgraduate, Research and Extension Program of Bahiana perform the I International Seminar on Graduate Programs Stricto Sensu, in room 206, of the Academic Unit Brotas, starting at 8 hours.
The meeting aims to present the partnership of the Bahiana with Johns Hopkins University (JHU), a non-profit private higher education institution located in Baltimore, Maryland, United States.
The occasion will also be marked by a tribute to Professor Carlos Alfredo Marcílio de Souza, creator and first coordinator of the Master's in Medicine and Human Health course at Bahiana.
The seminar will be attended by the director of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública and General Coordinator of the Foundation Bahiana for Science Development, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani and the coordinator of Undergraduate and Graduate Education, Prof. Maria de Lourdes de Freitas Gomes. Also participating in the activities are research professors Dr. Ana Marice Ladeia, Dr. Bernardo Galvão, Dr. João Lima and Dr. Luís Claudio Correia. The program will consist of debates, lectures and testimonies by the institution's professors.
