Graduate Program has inaugural class

On February 27, at the Cabula Academic Unit, the inaugural class of the Graduate Programs in Medicine and Human Health and Health Technologies was held.

The opening table was attended by the director of Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, from the Coordinator of Undergraduate and Graduate Education, Prof. Maria de Lourdes de Freitas Gomes, from the Graduate Pedagogical Advisor, Silvia Passos, from the professors of the graduate program, Dr. Diego Menezes; Dr. Ana Marice and Dr. Marcos Almeida and the vice-coordinator of Postgraduate Studies, Research and Extension, Prof. Carolina Pedroza.

On the occasion, the new students attended a presentation of the institutional policy for postgraduate studies, given by Dr. Maria Luisa, and learned about the articulation strategies between undergraduate and postgraduate courses, shown by Prof. Maria de Lourdes. The research infrastructure was in charge of Prof. Dr. Diego Menezes and the extension actions and their intersection with graduate studies were presented by Prof. Carolina Pedroza.

The meeting also made it possible for new graduate students to get to know the lines of research, the faculty, the curriculum and the development of research.
