CEP Coordinator-Bahiana participates in national meeting

Bahiana she was represented at the Extraordinary Meeting of Research Ethics Committees – ENCP and at the 1st National Meeting of Representatives of Users of the CEP/CONEP System, which took place on November 17, 18 and 19, in the city of Atibaia, in the interior of São Paulo. The School was represented by the coordinator of CEP-Bahiana, Prof. Roseny Ferreira.

Among the topics addressed at the meeting, the highlights were the presentation of the Minutes of Complementary Resolutions to Resolution 466/12, in relation to the Accreditation of Research Ethics Committees, the ethical specificities of research in the social and human sciences and others that are used of methodologies specific to these areas and, also, the presentation of the Draft Resolution on the Ethical Specificities of Research of Strategic Interest for the SUS.

The working groups were formed so that all participants could make their contribution. According to Prof. Roseny Ferreira, the next step will be the placement of these minutes for public consultation before the final assessment by the National Health Council.

The CEP coordinator-BAHIANA, also highlighted the interest of all present in the realization of a breakthrough in bioethical issues related to the themes in question.
