IV Physiotherapy Research Journey of Bahiana

Event featured the I Meeting of Physiotherapy Graduates.

On October 17, at the Centro de Convenções do Cabula, the IV Research Journey in Physiotherapy was held, together with the I Meeting of Graduates of Physiotherapy. 

 

The event had around 200 participants, including students, physiotherapists and professors, and was organized by the Scientific Knowledge Production in Health axis of the Physiotherapy course, represented by professors Cristiano Dias, Marcus Vinicius Santana and Selena Dubois.

 

The coordinator of the Physiotherapy course, Prof. Luciana Bilitário, presented a lecture in which she highlighted how changes in society have been reflected in the training of physiotherapists, using a historical and social line.

The program also featured a roundtable with the participation of Prof. Dr. Kátia Sá, coordinator of the Postgraduate, Research and Extension Program at Bahiana, by Prof. Dr. Cristiane Dias, TCC coordinator of the Physiotherapy course, by Prof. Dr. Fernanda Camelier, coordinator of the collegiate coordinator of the Physiotherapy course at UNEB and prof. Dr. Mansueto Neto, coordinator of the UFBA Physiotherapy course collegiate, in which issues such as teaching, research and extension were addressed, with an emphasis on physiotherapy.

 

Among the event's innovations, a lecture and a workshop were presented, whose theme was Career Management, chosen due to a poll carried out on the Alumni portal. Bahiana. A sample of 36 works was also exhibited in the form of posters, evaluated by students from the physiotherapy course.
