Postgraduate in Medicine and Human Health

The Graduate, Research and Extension Program of Bahiana receives applications for the courses of Medicine and Human Health (master's and doctorate) and Health Technologies (master's). Interested parties should contact the Graduate, Research and Extension Secretary at the Academic Unit Brotas – Av. D. João VI, 275, Pavilion II, room 7. To compete for the 17 places in the Master's program and 8 in the Doctorate program in the Medicine and Human Health course, the candidate must have a degree in Medicine and other professions in the health area with a certificate of course completion recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). For the 20 (twenty) vacancies in the Master's Degree in Health Technology, candidates must be graduates in the area of ​​health and related areas, with a diploma duly certified by the MEC. 

The master's objective is to deepen technical, scientific and ethical knowledge, aiming at training human resources for the best exercise of research, teaching and assistance using the methodology of “problem-based learning” and the ability to “evaluate scientific evidence”. The doctoral course is intended to develop the ability to research with autonomy and originality and to add new knowledge.
