On August 21, a group of 44 high school students from Colégio Anchieta visited the Cabula Academic Unit where they were able to visit the school's facilities and have contact with the academic environment of the Bahiana. The visit was another action of the "Being Bahiana Por Um Dia", an initiative that aims to support the professional guidance work of schools, providing students with information about the courses offered by Bahiana.

The group of students, who were accompanied by Anchieta's high school advisor, Marília Galvão, participated in lectures with the professor of the Biomedicine course, Vanessa Brito, and the professor of the Medicine course, Rita Elizabeth Mascarenhas. At the end of the meeting, the students took a guided tour of the anatomy laboratory with the support of the embalmer, Evaldo Jesus dos Santos, and the laboratory technicians Samile Ribeiro and Vanda Invenção.

The pedagogues of the Pedagogical Supervision Nucleus, Marcia Assis and Luzenita Landeiro, as well as the assistant of the Institutional Relationship Nucleus, Paola Santos, also accompanied the visitors.
