Be Bahiana for a day | College Workshop

On August 19, high school students from Colégio Oficina participated in a visit to the Cabula Academic Unit, as part of the "Being Bahiana Por Um Dia". The initiative aims to support the work of professional guidance at the schools, providing students with information about the courses offered by Bahiana, in addition to promoting contact with the institution's academic environment.

During the tour of the facilities, the students were accompanied by the high school advisor, Prof. Roberta Sabak and by the course assistant at Colégio Oficina, Eduardo Moreira. They were welcomed by the pedagogues of the Pedagogical Supervision Nucleus of Bahiana Marcia Assis and Luzenita Landeiro and by Queise Bahia, assistant of the Institutional Relationship Nucleus.

The group of 40 students participated in lectures with the coordinator of the Dentistry course, Urbino Tunes, the coordinator of the Physiotherapy course, Luciana Bilitário, the professor of the course of Biomedicine, Vanessa Brito and the professor of the course of Medicine, André Zimmermann.

On the occasion, Felipe Borges Brandão, representative of the Academic League of Orthopedics, spoke briefly to the students about the League's performance. At the end of the meeting, the students took a guided tour of the anatomy laboratory with the support of the embalmer, Evaldo Jesus dos Santos and laboratory technicians Samile Ribeiro and Vanda Invenção.
