The interfaces of communication in health work

The conclusion of the first group of the Specialization course in Intensive and Discharge Care culminated in the meeting, Interfaces of Communication in Health Work, which took place on August 23, at the Cabula Academic Unit.
Coordinated by the vice-coordinator of postgraduate, research and extension at the Bahiana, Prof. Carolina Pedroza and Prof. Simone Passos, the event sought to debate the topic of communication as an essential skill in health work.
The program included the conference "The interfaces of communication in health work" presented by the nurse Almerinda Luedy Reis, who addressed communication as a fundamental element in the realization of affective and effective care; with the lecture "Digital Communication", by lawyer Ana Paula Moraes, who spoke about virtual relationships in the organizational sphere, drawing attention to digital shielding and care in the use of corporate digital resources.
The meeting also included the workshops "Communication in teamwork"; "Communication of bad news"; "Nursing record"; "Communication, ethics and patient safety" and "The body in communication".
