Science with Acarajé reaches its 10th edition

The role of the biomedic in aesthetics was the theme of the 10th edition of Ciência com Acarajé, which took place on August 21, at the Academic Unit, Cabula. The meeting is held by the Tutorial Education Program of the Biomedicine course and this time it brought as a guest speaker the biomedical doctor Dr. Lorena Araujo Soares.

The program also included the exhibition of photographs "Cultura Baiana" by photographer Rosilda Cruz, which took place at the Memorial da Bahiana.

Ciência com Acarajé intends to bring to the academic public, professors, employees, high school students and the local community, more information about the situation of science in Bahia and the most current research in Brazil and in the world, providing lectures with researchers and scholars on various scientific topics of great relevance to human health, the environment and other areas of knowledge.
