PROSAE (Health and Education Program of Bahiana)
except medicine

• 50% scholarships throughout the course for students from public schools, who attended at least two years of high school in the public network.
• Scholarships of 50% for the entire course for full scholarship students from private schools, for a minimum of two years. 
• 75% renewable annual scholarships for the Physical Education course.

* For the Health Informatics course, valid for students who completed high school from 2024 onwards.

FIES – Student Financing Fund
Except for Physiotherapy and Health Informatics. 

A Bahiana  adhered* to the Student Financing Fund (FIES) in the selection process for the 1st semester of 2026 for the courses of Biomedicine, Physical Education, Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry and Psychology.

FIES is aimed at students who:
- they carried out the ENEM starting in 2010 and obtained the minimum grade required by the program; 
- They meet the family income criteria defined in the public notice.

Important informations: 
• The membership of Bahiana FIES does not guarantee the granting of financing or an automatic place.

*The membership of Bahiana Participation in FIES does not guarantee the availability of places in the program. An institution may have joined FIES, but the number/availability of places depends on criteria defined by the MEC (Ministry of Education) for each selection process.

Credits Bahiana

• Educational Credit varying between 30% and 70% of the value of monthly fees during the course and payment of the residual value after graduation, with no remunerative interest rate.
• Check the Regulation and do your simulation.

Modalities: Selection Process, ENEM, External Transfer and Diploma Holder

• Discount on the 1st year of studies at Bahiana in the following percentages per course:
  • Biomedicine – 40%.
  • Nursing – 60%.
  • Physiotherapy – 60%.
  • Dentistry – 30%.
  • Psychology – 30%.

After the benefit ends, you will be able to obtain an Educational Credit of up to 50% of the monthly fees during the remainder of the course and pay off the residual value after graduation, with no remunerative interest rate. Subject to socioeconomic analysis.

PROAE (Educational Support Program of Bahiana)

•  Educational credit of up to 50% of the tuition fees during the course, with the remaining amount paid after graduation.

** Valid only for new students enrolled in the 2026.1 semester who are linked to the Health and Education Program of Bahiana (PROSAE – see information above); for Dentistry and Psychology, places are limited, according to the institution's financial availability.

MEDI+
Exclusive to Medicine

• Through an agreement signed with the Maria Emilia Foundation, two full scholarships for Medicine are offered per semester to students from less privileged social classes, in conditions of social vulnerability.

PROBOPE 

• A monthly stipend of R$ 450,00 per student contributes to their continued enrollment in the course and participation in academic activities. All students participating in the MEDI+ Program receive this aid; in addition, students in situations of financial vulnerability may also be eligible.

Scholarship Program for Teaching Assistants 

• The Scholarship Program for Teaching Assistants is available to students with a gross family income of up to 10 minimum wages who have been accepted into the teaching assistant program. Brazilian Financial Cooperative System (SICOOB)
Exclusive to Medicine

• Financing the Medicine course, for students from the 3rd semester, with property as collateral, under the following conditions:
  
  1- The student will finance the semester and begin paying 30 days after the end of the semester in 12 installments. This modality, if it is from the 9th, will not require a property guarantee.
  2 - The student can start financing from the 3rd semester and only start paying after completing the course.

unicred
Exclusive to Medicine

• Financing the Medicine course, for students from the 1rd semesterby opening a current account at the cooperative, under the following conditions:

Unicred pays the entire semester upfront, directly to the institution, with an early payment discount. Afterwards, the student pays Unicred in up to 12 installments, with a 30-day grace period in the first semester.

Each semester, the grace period increases so that the student never has to pay two tuition fees at the same time.
