Implant systems: From validation to commercialization - Profs. Fábio Bezerra and Paulo Rocha

The programme Prep for Masters - Concentration area in Implantology - ended its activities in 2010 with classes Implant Systems: from validation to commercialization e Scientific Research in Dental Prosthesis: Feasible?, given respectively by Professors Fábio Bezerra and Paulo Rocha e held on December 16, at the Cabula Academic Unit.

Prof. Fábio Bezerra is a Postgraduate in Periodontics and author of the book Monitoring and Maintenance of Peri-Implant Health. In turn, Paulo Rocha is Master and Doctor in Oral Rehabilitation, by USP Bauru and Prof. Adjunct of the Integrated Clinic at UFBA and coordinator of the Prosthodontics course at ABO-BA.

Started in July 2010, the Preparatory course received nationally important names in the field of implantology, such as Dr. Ivate Sartori, Dr. Hugo Nary, Dr. Carlos Nelson Elias, Dr. José Mauro Granjeiro and specialists José Carlos Rosa and Darcimar.

Aimed at dentists interested in the development of scientific research for admission to master's courses in implant dentistry, the preparatory course aimed to promote the development of new products and new technologies; enable the evaluation of existing products; study phenomena related to ossintegration; idealize and verify the effectiveness of new clinical procedures and discuss the methodology of applied scientific research.
