Note of regret: prof. Dr. André Luiz Peixinho

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Prof. André Luiz Peixinho. Doctor, philosopher, psychologist, prof. Peixinho, among other medical teaching institutions, was a professor at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública since 1979, becoming a full professor in 2005 and, currently, an academic member of the Postgraduate Program at Bahiana.

In 1999, in partnership with a group of idealists, he started the Hólon Society, from which the Vida Plena Community Complex emerged, focused on social assistance, education and health for needy communities. Member of the Spiritist Federation of the State of Bahia, prof. Peixinho was a promoter of the culture of peace.

The burial will be this Sunday, March 31st, at 16pm, at Jardim da Saudade Cemetery.
