The program Bahiana For one day resumed its activities last Wednesday afternoon (26), receiving high school students from Colégio Anchieta at Campus Cabula. This time, the activity was also the debut for Professor Ana Maria Cruz, from the Nursing course. "Today, it was a very nice experience, which I had never had before. Having a space to talk about the 62 specialties in which Nursing can work, was very useful for me. The students showed a lot of interest", says Ana Maria.
As usual, visitors were able to participate in educational activities related to each course at the institution, taking advantage of the contact with professors and the university environment provided by the campuses of the institution. In addition to the Nursing course, the students had contact with the Physiotherapy courses, whose activity was coordinated by Professor Rachel Trinchão, Biomedicine, under the guidance of leading biomedical Emily Figueiredo, and Psychology with the activity "Myths and Truth", with Professor Amanda Gama. The students were also able to learn a little about the Medicine and Dentistry courses in a visit to the Morfofuncional Laboratory and the Dental Center.
"This is the first time I'm entering a university. And it's very interesting because many people in my family studied at Bahiana, and it is a faculty that I am very interested in. So having the opportunity to learn about the structure, about the courses, is very important to help in this process of choosing a profession", declared Júlia da Silva Ribeiro, a 2nd year high school student at Colégio Anchieta.
