Registration is open for the Medi+ Program, a partnership between and Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública and Fundação Maria Emília (FME), which aims to transform the future of low-income students and public school graduates by providing access to the medical course and the necessary support until graduation.

Candidates will compete for two full scholarships that will cover 100% of the tuition fees throughout their training. To participate, it is necessary to be regularly enrolled in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) of the Federal Government, in addition to having completed high school in a Brazilian institution of public education. Entries can be made until May 14, on the website bahiana.edu.br/medimais, in which the announcement is also available.

In addition to benefiting students, the program enriches the educational experience of teachers, employees and other students and contributes to the development of socio-emotional skills. In this sense, the two institutions together reaffirm their commitment to the evolution of medical education, valuing diversity, inclusion and access to quality education.
