Biomedicine professors and students at Bahiana become a reference in work in the field of Radiology

The students, graduates and professors of the Biomedicine course at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública emerging in the field of Radiology in Salvador and other regions of Brazil. Given this scenario, the Bahiana has increasingly contributed to this academic and professional field, by offering its Specialization in Bioimaging course, which is now in its eighth class.

     
Also, members of the Bahiana have stood out and gained national reference, like Edson Oliveira and Thomas Barros, undergraduate and specialization professors in Biomedicine, and graduates such as Everty Mamona, who have participated as guests to speak in the last six editions of the Jornada Paulista de Radiologia, largest event in the area in Latin America.
     
Bahiana works today to reinforce that the presence of the biomedic in the Radiology sectors of clinics and hospitals is recognized as essential for improving the quality of promotion of Bioimaging services. These efforts have ensured that undergraduate and graduate courses at Bahiana, together with their graduate students, are recognized on a national scale of action in the health area.
