Objective:
Develop the ability to plan and execute diagnostic protocols based on imaging techniques, based on knowledge of pathophysiological processes, aiming at optimizing the performance of professional activity in Bioimaging services.
The creation of the Diagnostic Imaging Course at EBMSP is primarily justified by this institution's tradition of more than half a century in conducting its undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Health.
The Imaging Diagnostics area offers special motivation for the creation of opportunities for updating and training specialized labor. Its increasing updating, with particular specificity and technological refinement, demand the adequate training of its technical staff. In fact, Salvador and the region have a good Imagenology park, which requires adequate labor, with no tradition in specific training to respond to this challenge.
