18th edition of the National Biomedicine Meeting in Botucatu-SP

Venereal diseases, state of the art in viral hepatitis, wine and cardiovascular protection are some of the themes of the symposia that will be presented at the 18th edition of the National Biomedical Meeting (ENBM), on October 22,23, 24 and XNUMX, in Botucatu-São Paulo.

The congress is held annually by students from the Biomedical Sciences course and professors from the Biosciences Institute (IB) of the São Paulo State University (Unesp), Botucatu Campus, and the event's main objective is to present innovations in research in the various areas of activity. biomedical and other health professionals, in addition to being a relevant opportunity for exchanging experiences and knowledge among undergraduates, graduate students, professionals and professors.  

The 18th edition presents an innovative program and will start at the Botucatu Institute of Biosciences, with two short courses, one pre-congress and eight theoretical-practical courses, held in the university's laboratories and classrooms. After the end of these activities, the program will continue at La Salle school, in the city center, where the delivery of materials will be held, the opening of the event, sociocultural activities and seven lectures, two symposiums, twelve short courses and work presentations will be given at the panel and oral modalities. 

All delegates who send their work will be able to choose to compete for cash prizes for each of the modalities, subdivided into scientific initiation and postgraduate studies.
