We realized that it was a learning experience for students and teachers to deal with the diversity of this perspective", highlights the coordinator of the journey and academic-pedagogical manager of the Graduate Program of Bahiana, teacher Silvia Passos. She highlights that the amount of work evaluated shows how much the journey has grown. Another new point highlighted by her was the fact that the works were presented in the classroom: "This favored this moment of integration between students and also of being able to evaluate, in a more significant way, being able to hear better what the student is doing. presenting”.
     
The 9th semester student of the Medicine course at Bahiana Ana Paula Dias Souto Schmitz presented the work "Association between adapted constipation score and Dysfunctional Voiding Symptom score (DVSS) in children and adolescents with urinary tract symptoms", developed at the Childhood Urinary Disorders Center (CEDIMI). She says that she sought out CEDIMI in order to learn more about the area of ​​urology and to get closer to research. "Presenting it here today is very gratifying because we see that our work has achieved its objective, which was important and which can encourage other people to want to follow the research line. I also think the initiative of the research is very important. Bahiana to carry out the MCC, as it is a stimulus to research that is of such relevance not only for medicine but for other areas of health. I think that growth happens with research and, if there is no investment in it, it ends."

Beatriz Esturaro, a Psychology student, recently joined as a scholarship holder Bahiana and presented, for the first time, a research work: the panel "Interface in Work, Family and Gender: a study with university professors". She says that, despite her nervousness, it was an extremely important experience for her training. "It is the same theme of my TCC that I will present next year, so it was already a rehearsal. It helps us a lot to grow and mature". She also emphasizes that being evaluated by professors from other courses is also enriching, as it leads researchers to rethink their language so that people with different knowledge understand their work.
